At around 2:15 pm local time, as a man climbed to the 149-meter high point of the Eiffel Tower in France, the local police urgently blocked the surrounding area and evacuated the crowd. The report said that the police had arrived at the scene and negotiated with the man. The authorities suggested that people delay their visit to the Eiffel Tower and wait for further notice.
