At about 16 p.m. on August 27, CA183, an Air China flight from Beijing to Tokyo, was scheduled to fly from Beijing to Tokyo. When passengers boarded the flight, smoke from the front cargo compartment was found suspected to have caught fire and no open fire was seen on board. According to reports, the plane was Airbus A330.
