On the evening of August 13, demonstrators at the Hong Kong airport beat a tourist and prevented the ambulanceman from sending him to the hospital for ambulance. The ambulancemen entered the scene and were blocked. The demonstrators also blocked the police from entering the scene and used a laser pen to illuminate the police, trapping the police and not allowing them to help the injured. The Hong Kong police reported that the visitor was surrounded and beaten by demonstrators.
